  • So the Rents tired to talk to me while I was saying good night to them
and it was funny because my mom's like is this the way you behave? and
I was like what behavior are you talking about? then my mom looks at my
dad and is like "ohh she's asking what behavior...."I was like well I
know I spent the night with my friend on Friday night and today I went
to the concert thing. Then my dad was like oh you couldn't pick up any
of our calls, and i'm like uhh...then my mom is like well....goodnight!
i was like whooaaaa this is weird, I didn't get bitched at!!!! ahhhhh!
but i bet I'll be getting it this week. I know this is too good to be
    true.

anyhow i forgot to mention on my last entry that the Ryan Cabrera and
    Click Five Q-2 on 1
was today. We got to actually take pictures with
them and get their autographs! it was craziness...i couldnt go to the
concert itself cause i didnt want to piss my mom off anymore by coming
home late on a Sunday...so i just ended up giving them to a friend. I
initially wanted to just sell them cause, they were realllyyyy good
tickets. but then I got lazy and didn't want to call people and find
out. oh well..I had a good time.

Click Five getting ready to perform

Oh so Bright! Click Five performing!!

awww they look like the Beetles!

    Warning: Ryan Cabrara I would
have to say looked like a complete bum at the concert, so therefore he
looks like a bum in all my pics. Too bad he didn't do his hair. It
    would have been nice...Darn...lol

Ryan looks like a jet of light...wait its the camera's!

    Here's good ole Ryan Carbrara.

I think he looked kinda chubby...what do yall think?

    All the way down!!!

So after the show, we went to Atlantic Station again, I love that place. We got some
food, then went to tin drum to get some more food. lol We love that
place! Its so crazy how a small bit of crab and cheese rolls can taste
    soooo good!

    ::sighs:: I loved this weekend!

  • I can't possibly think why I
shouldn't dislike my mother right now. My
whole life whenever I want to do anything, I always have to wait
forever to get a response or should I say "permission". I hate that. I
hate how she treats me like a 12 year old child, when all day I go to
school, come home, study, clean the house, etc etc. I been treated like
a fucking child my whole entire life even when I'm a damn adult. I hate
her for what she's doing. I know hate is such a strong word, but I do
hate her decision in treating me like this. She seems to think that
controlling my every move will somehow make me understand that she cares
for me. I already know she cares for me, but she's going to the extent
of controlling my ENTIRE life. I have to do what she tells me, come
home early on a Friday night when she knows that the ONE day I want to
do anything...the rest of the days I'm in school.

I don't understand, why she does this. Ok I've done some stupid
things in the past but I've had the burden on my shoulders this whole
entire summer of not doing anything and repenting for my sins. *In my
opinion and every other knowledgable adult I haven't done anything
wrong* But in the eyes of my parents I have. So therefore I repented,
and I am still repenting for making a choice to be an adult, to soon
    get punished for.

But no matter what I have done, you can't control an your adult child
to do what you want whenever you want it. They won't listen, and I'm a
perfect example. Ever since my parents stopped giving me the freedom of
doing what I want, I've had this sense of hatred towards them, which no
child should feel towards their parents, but yet i have, because of the
ways they have treated me. The ways they have controlled me, and the
ways they handle every situation with me as though I'm a child.

i would respect them much more if they treated me as an adult and spoke
to me as though i was an adult. I can't seem to make them understand
that I'm not 12 anymore. and no matter how calm and collective I am
with them, they always seem to think i am "talking against them" is how
they so eloquently put in in gujurati.

I think my only solution is right, now is to go to my school consoelor
and speak to them. I know for a fact that they won't ever consider
professional help, because they are too "perfect" with raising kids.
Didn't they ever think that they went somewhere wrong with my brother?
They didn't once try to change their ways of parenting so see if maybe
something else would work. They are so involved in making money that
they have no idea who their kids are. And no matter how much my mom
tries she will never understand how i am either. she's always had this
judgement about me that never seems to fail her when she yells at me.

That I'm not as helpful as my brother is, or that my brother went to
school, was in clubs, and helped at home and worked at the store. Well
everytime that comes up, i'm like how long did that last, all his
teenage years. And after he was 18 he went to college. Whose been doing
everything since then? Who is still doing it now? Did they ever once
think that maybe my brother won't listen to them, is because they never
took the time and listened to him? how can you possible do that to a
young teenager? make them work like an adult just because you can't
find anyone good enough to work for you?

I just don't understand what both my mom and dad are trying to
accomplish? Just in general. This may seem so inconsistent, but screw
it, its my online journal :)

  • so much chaos in one day! So I'm in the car, thinking ok I'll call and
maybe this time I'll be the right caller. Well of course I'm not, I'm
caller 33. So then I sit there and wonder ok should I call again...ah
why not, it wont cost me my minutes until they actually pick up, so I
continue to call. I keep getting a busy signal but finally it happens.
Someone picks up!! I'm like am I caller 100? The lady on the other end
says YES your caller 100!! I'm like OH MY GOD! are you for real?!!? I
can't believe this! ahhh I'm shaking!! She's like congratulations!! I'm
like omgggg!!! I've never won anything!! lol She's like you've won
tickets for Ryan Craberra show at Shout!! I'm like oh that's awesome!!
I'm like I can't believe this, you made my week! Then she asks me what
my name is... I'm like my name is Priya. She's like that's so pretty.
Then she asks me what station is giving you all the hits? I'm like ALL
    THE HITS Q100!!

    Ahhh it was soo crazy!

  • Sleepy

    Well after hours of cooking
indian food with my mom, i finally got to study...wooo hooo... lol Its
not like I did get to study much. I think I'll do that after I make
    some vegetable korma...yumm.

Man I need to stop eating cheese,
its ultimately my downfall in my overall diet. Thats the one thing that
holds me back in having a good body. Grrr! Oh well, I'll have to work
    on that.

I am trying to learn Hindi by
watching a bunch of hindi movies. I can't really understand without the
subtitles. But we'll see how that goes. Right now I'm watching Kaal Ho
Naa Ho, on my PSP...lol since my brother convienently took my DVD
player. Oh well. Anyhow need to eat and study. Hopefully it will pay
    off in the end.

  • Its unbelievable. I seem to think that I have all this time to do all
these things, with everyone around me, but in reality time is going by
too fast and I don't have all the time in the world. yet, it seems like
yesterday when I was 16. I believe that I'm thinking in this odd way
because a friend of mine is turning 21 today.

we all have waited for this moment. since the day we experienced a
night out with our older friends. but now that the day is here its like
whoooaaa....I'm getting old. 20 was the breaking point. the realization
came that "wait I'm no longer a teenager". but now 21 is the supposed
to be the best year of your life technically right? but what happens
after that. its all down hill. hopefully not.

well I need to go savor whatever time I have in this world. lol who knows in store for any of us.

November 8, 2005

  • very nervous...I think students have high blood pressures before their tests. maybe I should do a study on that.

November 6, 2005

  • My feet hurt. And I still have to study....ahhhhhhhhh!!

  • This is
way too early for a SUNDAY! I hate these new hours. They need to change
back to the old hours. I don't understand why they can't make all the
stores be the old hours we had. Losers....oh well. Wal- Mart doesn't
care about their employees. They just use the young ones and kick em
back to the curb. Bloody sucking whores.

Well need to get ready for work. Adios

November 5, 2005

  • I got the biggest surprise ever
this weekend! Low and behold I was working, and while that blah of an
experience I got a little surprise. I got a visit from my little fairy
Imu. I couldn't believe it! I had been in a bad mood earlier today,
because my mom had bitched me out in the morning because I had to work
at the pharmacy when she wanted me to help her. So therefore I was
somewhat cranky..yes I was irritable. And I had no idea this would
spark up a visit from my fairy. Hehe maybe I should be cranky more
    often

But that really just totally made me melt. At first I looked up, then I
looked back down, and I think my brain took a couple of seconds to
process the image in my head, which was hilarious because so many
thoughts went through my head. I was trying not to blush but I just
couldn't help it. But overall it was great.

Anyways our store hours have changed drastically. Before they were M-F 8-8 p.m.

    S: 9-6 P.m. Sun: 11-4 p.m. Now they are M-F 9-9 p.m. S: 9-7 p.m. Sun: 10-6 p.m.

    I've never worked till 6pm on a
Sunday...Thats the reason I somewhat like Sundays it because even
though we are sooo busy, we still get out early and have the rest of
the day to do things. But now its like its pretty much how I worked on
    the old Saturday's 9- 6 p.m. I really can't do much afterwards. I can't
believe I've worked there for like 2 years 10 months. That's craziness!!
Well anyway gotta work early tomorrow. Need sleep :)
